The highly anticipated 'Unique Yew Nork' exhibition is set to open at the Skewville Presents gallery space in Brooklyn. Curated by Halopigg, this show is both a celebration of his birthday and a heartfelt tribute to the vibrant city he once called home.

New York City is renowned for its dynamic street art scene, a bustling tapestry of tags, murals, graffiti, stickers, and wheat-pastes that adorn its urban landscape. Halopigg, who lived in Brooklyn from 2013 to 2017, reminisces fondly about this eclectic mix of street art. He describes how the city's streets offered endless inspiration and a constant flow of creative energy. "Unique, New York. Unique New York. 'Unique Yew Nork'… D’Oh!!!! Having lived in Brooklyn, the thing I miss the most about NYC, besides the pizza, is the eclectic nature of art in the streets," he shares. This exhibition is his effort to bring that same diversity into the gallery space.

Halopigg invited a stellar lineup of artists to contribute pieces that reflect the essence of New York City's street art. The result is a rich collection featuring a variety of media, including studies, hand-finished prints, originals, and even a unique lenticular piece. Each work is a nod to the artists' original street pieces from the five boroughs of NYC, capturing the spirit and energy of the city's urban art scene.

The opening reception for 'Unique Yew Nork' will take place on Saturday, August 10, from 6-10 pm, featuring live DJ sets by @roycer700_ and a special birthday celebration for Halopigg. This is an exciting opportunity to meet the artists and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere that Skewville Presents is known for.

The exhibition will be open to the public from Tuesday, August 13, through Tuesday, August 20, from noon to 6 pm each day, with Halopigg in attendance. Additionally, Skewville will host a final viewing on Saturday, August 24, from noon to 6 pm.
