I Don't Need Another Beige Anything.

I have nothing against beige.

I just wonder when everyone decided we needed quite so much of it.

Beige rooms. Beige clothes. Beige handbags. Entire wardrobes that look like they were designed not to upset anybody.

And the funny thing is, I actually like a beautiful neutral.

I just don't want everything to look like it came with instructions to be tasteful.

Give me something strange. Something with a little personality. Something that makes me look twice.

Or give me beige.

But it had better be spectacular beige.
