I Have a Soft Spot for the Impractical.

Some shoes are clearly not designed for walking very far.

Some chairs look spectacular but don't particularly invite you to sit down.

And some handbags appear to hold approximately one lipstick and a bad decision.

I love them anyway.

Not everything has to justify its existence by being useful.

Sometimes something is simply beautiful. Or strange. Or so completely absurd that you can't stop looking at it.

Would I buy everything I admire?

Absolutely not.

Would I spend far too long looking at it?

Probably.
