GUCCI HIGH JEWELRY
The House introduces an exclusive selection of Gucci High Jewelry pieces during Paris Haute Couture week.
Gucci Hortus Delicarum is the story of a journey through five sublime lands of emotion and delight, where each piece represents a different passage or setting from the imaginative saga. Designed by Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele and inspired by the Grand Tour trips, this collection is an adventure into the mysticism of dreams. In a dreamlike map of memories suspended in time and space through 200 poetic pieces, Alessandro Michele creates a travelogue where every destination tells a story. Five destinations and five chapters define this travelogue: Siena (ancient architecture inspired by the Duomo); Florence (made with neoprene, like smooth marble walls); Milan (designed in collaboration with Jean Nouvel); Rome (inspired by the Colosseum); and Sicily (recreated at scale using an ancient technique called trompe l'oeil).
At the Gucci High Jewelry Place Vendôme boutique, Hortus Deliciarum — meaning ‘Garden of Delights’ in Latin — sees the House’s rich heritage in Italian craftsmanship ignited by its ever-distinctive creativity in one-of-a-kind masterpieces distinguished by exceptional quality and acute attention to detail.
