This season, Tom Ford did what he does best: balancing the polished with the provocative to deliver unbridled glamour, updated for today. Nods to his reign at Gucci abounded—from the pastel lamé tailoring with his sharp, hyper-nipped fits to fringed and richly embellished silky cowboy shirts, slinky black bra tops and lacy underthings, and jewel-tone velvet shirting with western embroidery—alongside the high-shine, after-dark seduction he’s made his signature. Of the latter, we love the draped jersey pieces with body-sculpting sheer inserts and the sequin-drenched gowns.
