At the turn of the 20th century, Guccio Gucci, a humble Florentine porter at The Savoy hotel in London, dared to dream that one day his name would adorn luxury luggage. Little did he know that his vision would evolve into a constellation of timeless pieces, including the renowned GG monogram suitcases and duffles, cherished by fashion enthusiasts worldwide.

Gucci Cosmos, the second stop of the House's traveling archival exhibition, unveils the enchanting narrative behind Gucci's evolution. Renowned contemporary artist Es Devlin has crafted a visual masterpiece, immersing visitors in a series of cosmic revolutions. These immersive worlds vividly highlight the enduring themes woven into Gucci's rich history, with two new themes introduced exclusively for the London exhibit.

Curated by the esteemed Maria Luisa Frisa, a prominent fashion theorist and critic, Gucci Cosmos showcases rare treasures, some making their inaugural journey outside the archive. These artifacts trace the constellation of ideas and innovations set in motion by the House, providing a unique perspective on Gucci's story. The exhibition begins with a recreation of The Savoy elevator, where Guccio Gucci's journey commenced, and culminates with Gucci Ancora, Creative Director Sabato De Sarno's inaugural fashion show, capturing the current chapter being written in Gucci's legacy.
