‘LAX / AMS’ Thinkspace x STRAAT

The STRAAT Museum in conjunction with Thinkspace Projects is thrilled to announce their second joint venture, the much-anticipated LAX / AMS exhibition. This lively group show unites 84 artists hailing from 20 countries worldwide, offering a rich tapestry of various artistic approaches and career trajectories. Thinkspace Projects, headquartered in Los Angeles, California, lends its unique curatorial eye to this global creative meet-up.

Taking place in the effervescent environment of Amsterdam's esteemed STRAAT Museum, the LAX / AMS exhibition will engage visitors from June 17th to July 30th, 2023. The public is invited to the opening reception on the evening of Saturday, June 17th, 2023, from 7:30-11 pm. To further enhance this special event, artists Super A and Collin van der Sluijs will craft extraordinary, mural-sized works during the week preceding the grand opening. These additions to STRAAT's constantly changing main hall collection will be painted live during regular museum hours, offering visitors an opportunity to watch these remarkable artists at work.

Apart from the jaw-dropping murals, the STRAAT Gallery will display an array of fresh pieces from an array of acclaimed artists, curated by Thinkspace Projects.
