Paris+ par Art Basel
Galleries from France and beyond will showcase their artists in the Grand Palais Éphémère and its extension on the Champ de Mars come October. The fair is split into three sectors.
Galeries is the main exhibition sector of Paris+ by Art Basel. It features galleries specializing in Modern and contemporary art, displaying work of exceptional quality including paintings, drawings, sculptures, installations, photography, video, and digital art. The Galeries Émergentes sector gathers exhibitors presenting young and emerging artists through solo presentations, and the Sites sector, with David Yurman as official partner, is dedicated to artistic projects taking place across the city of Paris.
For its first edition, Sites will unfold in four emblematic settings throughout Paris.
The Jardin des Tuileries – Domaine national du Louvre will host ‘La Suite de l'Histoire’, an exhibition of large-scale works curated by Annabelle Ténèze, Director of Les Abattoirs, Musée - Frac Occitanie Toulouse. The exhibition will continue at the musée national Eugène-Delacroix with a suite of sculptures by Thaddeus Mosley. A sprawling installation by Alicja Kwade will be on view on Place Vendôme, and Omer Fast will present an immersive project at the Chapelle des Petits-Augustins des Beaux-Arts de Paris.
