Who Decided That Was Good Taste?

I've always found the idea of good taste a little funny.

Who exactly is in charge of deciding?

Because I've seen things described as terribly chic that I wouldn't want anywhere near my house.

And I've seen things dismissed as tacky that I thought were absolutely fantastic.

I like what I like.

Sometimes it's expensive. Sometimes it's ridiculous. Sometimes it's something nobody else seems particularly impressed by.

I don't think taste should require a committee.

Although I'd quite enjoy sitting on one.

Just to disagree with everybody.
